Yes. Install the USB helper for Windows or macOS, pair it with the website and enter your key. The helper communicates with the camera locally.

Your key is emailed after payment confirmation. Enter it in Camera Language. The first accepted processing attempt binds the key to your camera.

A key includes three processing attempts for one camera. After your explicit confirmation, an accepted attempt consumes one use, including an already available function, an error or an unsupported operation. Contact support@cameralanguage.com if something goes wrong; an administrator can restore a use. Reading and backups do not consume uses.

It depends on the camera and USB mode. The helper indicates whether setup is needed. Windows asks for administrator approval if a driver change is required.

On your computer. The service saves and verifies the original data before writing. Keep your backup afterwards.

Internet is required to authorize a new operation. Once writing starts, the local helper completes the operation and verification even if the website disconnects. The report is sent when connectivity returns.
